The LVT brands in one place: Karndean, Quick-Step, Polyflor, Moduleo, Gerflor and Kährs. Click, gluedown and rigid core. Free samples on every range.
LVT is the category we are best known for. We stock the brands most retailers only carry in part: Karndean, Quick-Step, Polyflor, Moduleo, Gerflor and Kährs, plus our own range, in click, gluedown, rigid core and flexible core formats.
Luxury vinyl tile is vinyl through and through, which is why it is genuinely waterproof rather than water-resistant, and why it stays warmer and quieter underfoot than laminate or real wood. The decisions that matter are fitting method and wear layer. Click and rigid core float over the subfloor and are the faster fit. Gluedown is bonded down, gives the flattest and most permanent result, and is what most designers specify for a pattern or a border. Wear layer thickness, not price, is the honest guide to how long the floor will last.
Six LVT brands plus our own Flooring Supplies range, all stocked to range depth. Start here if you already know the brand, or read what each one is known for below.

Wear layer, guarantee and plank format columns to be added from product data before build. Descriptions are deliberately factual rather than comparative, and carry no pricing, so the brands are described in their own terms. Worth sending to each brand's account manager for sign-off.
B S HKarndean herringbone and Polyflor parquet, laid as blocks. All the pattern of a parquet floor, completely waterproof, and it will go in a bathroom.
Shop Herringbone LVTThis is the first real decision in LVT, and it changes both the price and who fits it.
Floats over the subfloor with a click joint. The fastest fit and the most DIY-friendly.
Bonded down. The flattest, most permanent result and the one designers specify.
A rigid board that hides small subfloor imperfections. Click fitting, more solid underfoot.
A thinner, more forgiving board. Good over an existing level floor.
Then the look. LVT is the only category where stone, wood and pattern are all equally credible.
Blocks in a V pattern. The strongest pattern in the category.
Plank formats with real grain texture. The volume seller.
Slate, limestone and concrete looks, warm underfoot in a way real stone never is.
Block patterns beyond herringbone, including basketweave and chevron.
Acoustic backing bonded to the plank. Quieter and quicker to fit.
The room LVT wins outright. Completely waterproof, warm underfoot and it will take a pattern that tile cannot.
Shop BathroomWear layer thickness is the single most honest guide to how long an LVT floor will last. It matters more than brand and more than price.
Bedrooms and rooms that do not take heavy traffic or grit from outside.
The standard domestic wear layer and what most brand ranges use. Right for a kitchen or a hallway.
Busy family homes, pets, and anywhere the floor meets an outside door.
Polyflor and Gerflor commercial specifications, used domestically where the floor has to last.
Almost every LVT question ends up here, and the honest answer depends on the subfloor and who is fitting it. Click and rigid core planks lock together and float over the subfloor. They are quicker, need no adhesive, and a competent DIYer can lay a room in a day. They also need a reasonably flat subfloor, and they will move very slightly underfoot in a way some people notice.
Gluedown is bonded to the subfloor with adhesive. It gives the flattest, quietest, most permanent floor, it is the only sensible choice if you want a pattern, a border or a design strip, and it is what almost every Karndean installation you have admired actually is. It needs a properly prepared subfloor and, realistically, a fitter. If you want a floor that looks laid rather than fitted, choose gluedown.

Needed a discontinued Karndean decor to patch a floor and they had it. Nobody else came close.
Verified customerOrdered the pressure sensitive adhesive at the same time and it arrived together. Saved a second trip.
Verified customerTold me gluedown was the wrong call for my subfloor and talked me into a cheaper option. Did not have to do that.
